The United Nations Association Long Island Organization Group is dedicated to building a strong network within the community to engage with critical global issues central to the work and mission of the United Nations. We bring the UN to you. We educate, inspire and mobilize Long Islanders to support and take action towards the sustainable development goals of the United Nations.
The United Nations Association (UNA) is an organization created to inform, inspire, and mobilize the American people to support the ideals and vital work of the United Nations. For 70 years UNA-USA has worked to accomplish its mission through its national network of Chapters, youth engagement, advocacy efforts, education process, and public events. UNA-USA is governed by the United Nations Foundation. Our 2020 Focus: Climate Action, Gender Equality, and Good Health & Wellness.
The UNA Team is from different backgrounds. We also represent different SDGs, and work together in order to help each other.
